Whats new in Microsoft 365 - June 2023. In this video, features added to Microsoft 365 in June 2023 were discussed. The new features in Microsoft 365 are:
- Compact Chat List: This new feature provides users in compact mode with a hidden message preview in their chat list. This feature will be rolling out across Microsoft Teams Desktop and Web.
- Calls on Apple CarPlay: Users can now call their speed dial contacts and view their recent call history on Apple CarPlay with Teams.
- Room Reservation with QR Code: Teams Panels now supports room reservations using QR codes. Users can scan the QR code with their Teams app on Android or iOS to reserve a room.
- Header Search in Teams admin center: This feature supports a wide range of entities, including Teams, Users, Policies, Settings, Documentation, and more, enabling users to quickly search for relevant information.
- Group Chat Message Copy Links: Group chat members can now create and share links to specific messages within the chat, improving communication and organization of information.
- Attach Cloud Files in Chat and Channel from Teams Mobile: Users can now upload files from OneDrive from Teams Mobile chat and channel for iOS and Android.
- Dark Mode in Teams Admin Center: A new toggle button allows administrators to switch between light and dark mode.
- Outlook to Replace Mail and Calendar Apps: By the end of 2024, Outlook for Windows will replace the Mail and Calendar apps in Windows.
- MAM for Edge on Windows: Microsoft Edge for Business provides users with secure access to organizational data on personal Windows devices.
- Manage Windows Driver and Firmware Updates with Microsoft Intune: This new functionality in Intune makes it easier to keep drivers on Windows devices up-to-date.
