WHAT’S NEW IN BUILD 23471
Accessing your phone’s camera roll from your PC is an important everyday task that is now easier with File Explorer Gallery. There is a new button in the Command Bar titled “Add Phone Photos” that will help with setting up your PC to be ready to show these photos in Gallery. Clicking this button today will open a URL with a QR code that you can scan with your phone to get started.
NOTE: We previously mentioned needing to opt into OneDrive’s Insider Program to get a version of the OneDrive sync client that handles the protoco.

Microsoft's Windows 11 Build 23471 introduces several new features, including a File Explorer Gallery to access phone photos, Taskbar Labels to quickly identify open windows, Dev Home for a streamlined development experience, and Windows Backup for improved system reliability. The new File Explorer Gallery features a new button on the Command Bar titled “Add Phone Photos” that opens a URL with a QR code that can be scanned with a phone to initiate the photo transfer. Taskbar Labels are designed to make it easier to identify windows by displaying a label on the taskbar. Dev Home, a new feature for developers, provides a streamlined development experience with a single hub for all development activities. Finally, Windows Backup includes new reliability improvements to ensure system and data security.
