✅ Microsoft announces the Surface Laptop Studio 2 with upgraded chips and ports
Microsoft unveiled its latest high-end convertible laptop, the Surface Laptop Studio 2, in New York City. Retaining the design features of its predecessor, the new model sports a pull-forward 14.4-inch display enhancing its touch capabilities. Starting at $1,999, the Studio 2 is powered by Intel's 13th Generation i7 H class chips, with GPU options of Nvidia RTX 4050 or RTX 4060. Unique to this device is an Intel Neural Processing Unit (NPU) – the first in a Windows computer. Configuration options include up to 2TB storage and 64GB RAM. Boasting as their "most powerful Surface", Microsoft claims it offers double the performance of the earlier version. Connectivity is enhanced with two USB-C ports, a USB-A port, a microSD card reader, and the Surface Slim Pen 2. It also introduces a customizable, responsive haptic touchpad described as "the most inclusive touchpad on any laptop." This release confirms speculations from WinFuture's recent leaks.
