Did you see that 𝐂𝐨𝐩𝐒π₯𝐨𝐭 is now in Power BI Quick Measures?

Microsoft has introduced a feature called Copilot in Power BI, which is currently in private preview. It leverages advanced generative AI to help users uncover and share insights from their data more rapidly. With Copilot, users can describe the insights they need or ask questions about their data, and the tool will analyze the data, creating a comprehensive report. Users can also describe the visuals and insights they want, and Copilot will generate these accordingly.

This tool integrates the capabilities of large language models into Power BI, enabling users to create and tailor reports more efficiently. As part of this functionality, there's a feature called Quick Measure Suggestions, which assists in creating DAX measures using natural language rather than using templates or writing DAX from scratch. These suggestions can be used to initiate the creation of common DAX measure scenarios.

To use Quick Measure Suggestions, you first need to enable the feature in the Options menu of Power BI.

Enhanced Insights with Quick Measure Suggestions in Copilot

The new Quick Measure Suggestions feature in Copilot makes it easier for Power BI users to create DAX measures and gain valuable insights from their data. By using AI-powered suggestions, users can avoid the complexities of DAX formulas and focus on fine-tuning their reports. This feature not only saves time but also enhances the user experience, allowing users to focus on what matters most – their data analysis and visualization.
