With the new option to create colored folders or change the color of existing folders on OneDrive for Web or SharePoint, users can now personalize and customize their OneDrive & SharePoint experience. Colored folders provide an easy way to identify content and add a touch of personality to the user's OneDrive and SharePoint.
To create or change the color of a folder, users can right-click on the folder and select the “Colors” option. From there, they can choose a color from the selection of available colors. They can also choose the “Automatic” option to have the folder color match the background of the page. Additionally, users can also create a custom color by selecting the “Custom” option and then adjusting the colors in the color picker. Once the folder is colored, the color will be retained even if the folder is moved to a different location in the OneDrive or SharePoint.
