The “Avatars for Microsoft Teams” app allows users to represent themselves in Teams meetings without having to turn on their cameras. Users can choose avatars that fit their specific meeting and organizations can control whether the app is available and who can use it using policies. The app is only available to Microsoft 365 tenants enrolled in a public or private preview program. Policies control app availability, automatic pinning, and blocking of app use. The default policy is applied to all users, but organizations can create policies for subsets of users.
