Paste Text ONLY - NEW Shortcut in Word is a new feature in Microsoft Word that allows users to quickly paste only text from the clipboard. It eliminates the need to manually strip out any formatting, images, or other content from copied text. This feature is available in the latest versions of Word for Windows and Mac. To use this shortcut, simply select the text you want to copy, press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+V (Windows) or Cmd+Alt+Shift+V (Mac), and the formatted text will be pasted without any additional formatting or content.
Microsoft Word got a new shortcut - Paste text only. Wouldn’t it be great if you could just copy and paste a formatted text without having to manually remove the source formatting like font size, type, or background color?
There is a shortcut called “keep text only” or “paste plain text” in other applications like Microsoft Teams. And now it’s available in Word for Windows and Word Mac too! I’ll show you how it works in this video.
