Viva Engage and Yammer are related?

Viva Engage and Yammer are related in that Viva Engage is a new app that integrates existing and new employee experiences powered by Yammer services. While Viva Engage delivers high-value employee experiences such as community building, leadership engagement, knowledge sharing, and self-expression, it introduces new features like storyline and stories. These new Viva Engage features will also appear in Yammer web, desktop, and mobile apps. Therefore, regardless of whether a user visits Yammer.com, uses the Yammer mobile apps for iOS or Android, or experiences the Viva Engage app in Teams, they will see the same content and access the same feature set.

What is Viva Engage?

Viva Engage is a new employee experience that aims to foster a sense of community and engagement across an organization, regardless of where or when employees work. It is designed to help companies build a more connected and inclusive workplace culture by leveraging the capabilities of the Viva Engage app, which is built into Microsoft Teams.
