In this fourth video of Matt’s new series he shows how to use a form to allow users to create records. There is a lot that goes into forms so Matt will be focusing on the basics. For example, how to set default values, design the form, and insert buttons for record creation and record cancellation. In later episodes, he will get into more of the advanced features and use cases for forms.
Matt will also show how to let users know what record is currently selected in a gallery by using some If logic and the template fill property. Finally, Matt will cover how to notify your user that the record was successfully created.
