To restrict editing of a Word document, you will first need to open the document in Word. Once the document is open, click on the “Review” tab in the ribbon. From there, click on the “Restrict Editing” button in the Protect section. A new window will open with a list of options for restricting editing. Select the option you wish to apply and click “OK”. Once you have done this, the document will no longer be editable by anyone other than the user who created it or those who have been authorized to edit it.
